Muslim Humsafar is built privacy-first. We collect the minimum information required to facilitate matchmaking, keep it secure, and put you in control of who can see your profile.

• Account details: your mobile number and a securely hashed password.
• Profile information: name, gender, date of birth, height, marital status, location, education, profession, religious details, and your About Me content.
• Photos you choose to upload.
• Activity needed to run the service, such as interests, matches, and messages.

• To create and display your matrimonial profile.
• To help you discover and connect with compatible matches.
• To enable interests, matches, and messaging between members.
• To keep the platform safe and respond to reports of misuse.

Some information is never shown publicly and is visible only to you:

• Your mobile number — private by default and never shown in search, cards, or profiles.
• Your password, sessions, and any technical identifiers.
• Reports you submit and users you block.

You decide how visible you are. From Settings you can set your profile to Public or Private, hide your mobile number, and hide your last-seen activity. Private profiles are excluded from discovery and reachable only through existing matches.

Photos you upload are part of your profile. To protect everyone's privacy, photos are shared with members once you match. You can delete your photos at any time.

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing and are never readable by anyone, including our team. We use industry-standard safeguards, encrypted connections, and strict access controls to protect your data.

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, your profile is hidden immediately and enters a 30-day recovery period, after which your personal data is permanently removed. We retain only the minimal records required for safety and legal obligations.
